The purpose of this article is to present a fuzzy decision-making method for supplier selection problems in the supply chain. In the last decade, how to determine the most suitable supplier has been considered as a strategic factor in the supply chain. The nature of these types of decisions is usually complex and lacks a specific structure, and many quantitative and qualitative performance criteria such as quality, price, flexibility and delivery time must be considered to determine the most suitable supplier. In this article, verbal expressions provided by experts have been used to evaluate and determine the performance of each supplier with respect to each criterion and to determine the weight of the criteria. The verbal rankings are expressed by triangular and trapezoidal fuzzy numbers and finally, the multi-criteria decision making method (MCDM) in a fuzzy environment is used for supplier selection and a method for calculating the weight and ranking of options in the fuzzy TOPSIS technique is presented.
